How do I get started?

Step 1:

For first time users, please first contact us for a tour and some basic guidelines.

Step 2:

Once you’ve taken the tour, we’ll ask you to electronically sign our very short and simple agreement.

Step 3:

Procure your dates with us directly (for events and conference room space, if applicable) and make payment once we send you the link. We’ll put you on the calendar and send you a door code that will automatically activate when you’ve booked to use the space.

After you’ve registered for the first time, future bookings will be easy. Monthly and daily members can easily use the space without contacting us and usage will be billed based on your door code activity. For any conference room or space rental, please always contact us before booking to ensure that the day and space is available.

I’m interested in taking a tour, what do I do?

I took a tour and want to join - now what do I do?

I’m a monthly member - what do I get?

  • Full access to the space via your own personal door code, Monday through Friday from 8AM to 6PM. (If there are no events taking place in the evenings or on the weekends, you can use the space then, too.

  • Reserve an office to work for the day, as available.

  • Utilize the conference room 2x per month for meetings as part of your membership, as available.

  • Enter the monthly parking raffle so you can use the village permit parking spots.

  • Have your business listed on our website (coming soon).

  • Be featured as a member spotlight in our e-newsletter.

What if I want to use the conference room?

  • If you are a monthly member, you can book the conference room for free twice per month.

  • If you are not a monthly member, the conference room is $25 for the first two hours (up to 6 people) and $15 per hour for every subsequent hour.

What amenities does Speak Easy provide?

  • We offer tea, space to work, and WiFi. Without the ability to provide as much as the “name-brand coworking spaces,” we offer a lower price and encourage members and visitors to frequent the amazing local shops around Ossining.

  • Monthly and daily members can use our printer and other office supplies. We aim to be an Eco-friendly organization, so please be mindful of how much you use and print.

Where should I park? How can I get to you?

  • There is free 3-hour parking right across the street, or metered parking around Ossining. We have quarters available if you find yourself stranded without any cash. If you plan to come regularly and for more than 2 or 3 hours at a time, Municipal Parking can be purchased by the town at a reasonable rate. (You do not have to be a village resident to purchase one and the pass can be shared between different vehicles. We are also offering a number of passes to monthly members via raffle.)

  • We also have a fabulous train station just down the hill (Ossining Train Station on the Hudson Line) which is a semi-express stop.

  • If you live nearby, we also encourage you to carpool or ride your bike. There is a bike stand just across the street.

I have another question that was not answered above!
